Read moreThe London Marathon Group works to inspire activity in all ages, abilities and demographics. The Group comprises the London Marathon Foundation and London Marathon Events. The London Marathon Foundation is the parent charity of London Marathon Events and funds a wide range of projects that inspire activity in London, Essex and across the UK. Since 1981 it has awarded more than £100 million to projects in London and across the UK that help people lead more active and healthy lives. London Marathon Events is both a world-leading and hugely successful events management company and a social purpose organisation. It has created and delivered an extensive portfolio of running, cycling and swimming events which includes the TCS London Marathon and Ford Ride London in addition to initiatives and outreach programmes which inspire activity and transform the lives of individuals in schools and communities across the UK.
London Marathon Events (LME) aimed to elevate their Leadership Programme: Accelerate, by injecting a fresh dose of engagement into the training. They observed that employee engagement was waning and that communication, both within teams and across different departments, was in need of improvement. To tackle this, LME envisioned a more collaborative and interactive environment for their staff. Additionally, they sought to foster a deeper sense of self-awareness among their employees, recognising that personal growth is key to effective leadership and teamwork.
LME took a proactive step by profiling their employees with the C-me High Performance report. To maximise the impact, several team members became C-me accredited, enabling them to conduct C-me workshops internally and be C-me experts . The unique C-me language of color and behavior has now become an integral part of LME’s communication and leadership training. Since implementing this approach, LME has seen noticeable improvements in communication, team performance, and employee engagement.
C-me is an enabler to support everyone at LMG to be more aware, involve the right people and to create a solution approach. There are more but this sums it up for me.
